The Stay Healthy New Jersey Podcast goes international in the 31st episode with Dan McFadden, who recorded this episode remotely from Canada.
Dan’s a local guy - grew up in Bridgewater and even played baseball with Justin. He spent most of his career in the school system working with children on the spectrum. Today, Dan is in the process of developing Behavior Flow, an app that will help students, families, and teachers in the classroom dealing with autism. ABA is an incredibly effective system when it comes to students with autism, but it’s far too labor intensive to reach its full potential in the classroom.
Dan talks about how much physical material is involved for each student on the spectrum, so he took matters into his own hands with the hopes of taking everything to one screen.
Behavior Flow is currently in its first round of testing. Dan educates the Stay Healthy NJ community on so much about children with autism, what it’s like for educators working with autistic students, and the positive impact he hopes to have on the autism community.
Behavior Flow’s current main platform is on Instagram @behaviorflow
